A UNESCO World Heritage site and New7Wonder of Nature — a subterranean river winding ~8km through a cathedral-like limestone cave of bats and strange rock formations, about 4.3km of it navigable by paddle boat. There's a strict no-permit-no-entry rule and a cap near 900 visitors a day, so book your dated slot days ahead (a month out in peak summer).

The classic Bacuit Bay run — Big Lagoon, Secret Lagoon, Shimizu Island and Seven Commando Beach off Miniloc, all towering limestone over jade water. Book the morning slot and you'll slip into Big Lagoon before the kayak armada arrives around 10am.

Kayangan Lake (the famously clear one, reached by a steep limestone stair) and Twin Lagoon, where you duck under a rock wall and feel the warm-then-cold thermocline, are the two unmissable stops. Take the earliest boat out — Kayangan's stairs jam up with 30+ people by mid-morning.

Coron Bay holds roughly a dozen Japanese WWII supply ships sunk by US carrier aircraft on 24 September 1944 — some of the best wreck diving in Southeast Asia, all packed into one small area. Local's tip: the Irako is the jewel but it's a deep 34–45m wreck for penetration-trained divers, while the Olympia Maru near Sangat Island sits shallower (hull ~12–30m) and makes a gentle intro for Advanced Open Water divers.

Kayangan Lake, Twin Lagoon and Banol Beach all sit inside the ancestral domain of the Tagbanua people, who manage access and charge their own conservation fees that fund the community. Treat the lake as sacred — no sunscreen, no fishing — and take the first morning boat out of Coron town to reach the famous viewpoint before the crowds.

One of the very few saltwater hot springs on earth — a geothermal 38–40°C pool ringed by mangroves on Busuanga's coast, about 30 minutes by tricycle from Coron town. Local's tip: come at golden hour after a day of island-hopping; the warm brine soaks the salt and sun-fatigue out of your shoulders, and you'll likely have it nearly to yourself.
