Gabii sa Kabilin (Night of Heritage)

For one night a year, Metro Cebu's museums, ancestral houses, churches and heritage spots throw their doors open from 6pm to midnight. One wristband — often paired with the heritage tranvía loop — gets you into a dozen-plus sites with live cultural shows, lantern-lit courtyards and food fairs. Modelled on Berlin's Long Night of Museums and run by the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation since 2007, it turns the old colonial core into a single after-dark trail. Local's tip: skip a car and ride the looping tranvía between sites; start at Museo Sugbo early before the queues build, and end near Plaza Independencia.
