AdventureBrgy. Maligaya, El Nido

Taraw Cliff Via Ferrata

daily, 8am–5pm

The jagged limestone fang looming over El Nido town is Taraw Cliff, and there's now a sanctioned way up it. A Via Ferrata route clips you into a fixed cable and sends you across metal rungs, hanging bridges, boulder scrambles and staircases to a viewdeck and a giant dreamcatcher framing the whole Bacuit archipelago. It's roughly a 20-minute climb up — harness, helmet and guide included for around ₱400 — with no climbing experience needed, just nerve. Local's tip: it's the rare El Nido thrill that isn't a boat tour, and the trailhead is a quick tricycle ride on Rizal Street — go early before the rock bakes and the midday haze swallows the view.

Going? The planner prices every way into El Nido — planes, ferries and buses side by side.
