Bangkero Reef Marine Sanctuary Snorkel

A community-managed coral reef off Romblon town that recovered dramatically after a 2010 barangay fishing ban — local fishermen now serve as reef wardens and run all snorkel tours themselves. The coral cover is some of the healthiest in MIMAROPA, with table corals, sea fans and regular reef shark sightings. Tip: rent gear from the barangay council office; all entry fees go directly to the warden cooperative.
