Bonbon Beach Sandbar

A curving white sandbar connecting two coconut-forested headlands on the north shore of Romblon Island — a tombolo formation that's one of the Philippines' most photogenic natural land formations. At low tide you walk the full length; at high tide it narrows to knee-deep. Tip: hire a tricycle from Romblon town (15 minutes). The beach gets almost no foreign visitors — just locals fishing. Bring food; one small hut sells drinks.
