Magpupungko Rock Pools

year-round; low tide only

Natural rock pools carved by wave action on Siargao's eastern coast — at low tide they fill with sun-warmed crystal-clear seawater and become the island's best free swim. The surrounding tidal platforms double as 3–5m cliff-jump points. Tip: check tide charts before going — the pools are inaccessible at high tide. Low tide is 4–6 hours per cycle; the walk from the road is 10 minutes.
