Siargao's eastern coast has green and hawksbill sea turtle nesting sites that local volunteer groups patrol each season. Several guesthouses in General Luna connect visitors with the program — early morning nest-tagging walks depart around 4am. Tip: this is a working conservation program, not a paid tour; a ₱300–₱500 donation is appropriate. Spotting is good but not guaranteed — the right frame is participation, not guarantee.
