Binucot Beach & Looc Bay Marine Sanctuary

Tablas, Romblon's largest island, has near-deserted beaches that get a fraction of traffic compared to Boracay 90km northwest. Binucot in Alcantara is the prettiest — white sand, calm water, local families fishing. Looc Bay has a small marine sanctuary with good snorkelling. Tip: fly into Tablas Airport (AirSWIFT from Manila or Caticlan) or ferry from Batangas; rent a motorbike for the day to cover both (30km apart).
